The main subjects of the workshop, that could be discussed both from the theoretical and the experimental point of view, will be

  1. Charged particle key reactions involving both stable and radioactive nuclei
  2. Neutron induced reactions
  3. Weak interactions and electron capture processes in stars
  4. New nucleosynthesis processes, e.g. neutrino-p processes
  5. Nuclear data from stars to technology
The goal of the workshop is of reviewing the state of the art in these fields and devoting roughly half of the time to bring forward brainstorming on new techniques and ideas and to strengthen collaborations between different groups on a “hands on” base.
The above subjects will be reviewed during the morning sessions and the afternoon ones will be kept open for discussions, when the new approaches can be presented and evaluated by the community, the open problems should be debated, and the needs and synergies singled out, as directly as possible.
All efforts should aim to create an atmosphere conducive to collaboration. This should take place in an informal way. Finally, for each subject a “white paper summary” should be prepared and added to the workshop proceedings.
